We are happy to introduce a new Customers section of our web site. In this area, we are asking customers of the Now SMS/MMS Gateway to provide us with information about their company, and how they use the Now SMS/MMS Gateway. If you would like to be included on this page, please complete the form below.

While there are hundreds of paying customers of the Now SMS/MMS Gateway, our policy is to only list customers when they have given explicit permission for us to list them.

Manx Telecom

Manx Telecom was formed in 1987 and is a wholly owned subsidiary of mmO2. The company holds licences to run fixed and mobile networks on the Isle of Man. In December 2001 Manx Telecom became the first telecoms company in Europe to have a live 3G mobile phone network. Manx Telecom has a portfolio of high quality Internet services and is a key player in the Isle of Man Government's strategy to develop the Island's potential as an offshore e-commerce centre.

Graham Shimmin, Consumer Data Services Product Manager says, "Manx Telecom's customer base is relatively small but they are exposed to UK media including advertising of Picture Messaging services by UK based operators. The Now SMS/MMS Gateway has enabled a relatively small operator to drive up their knowledge of a new area of business. With the size of the Isle of Man market a cost effective solution was essential, allowing early entry with a service that has already got high customer visibility."

Mservice

Mservice was formed in 2001 by Lars Saabye, Jacob Malherbe and Henrik Dalsgaard. The company was focused on systems to deliver content to mobile phones and content to mobile phones. In 2002 Mservice had it's first hit with a traffic sms service. This service had more that 400,000 sms alert in November of 2002. Around the same time Mservice needed to gear up for MMS and WAP PUSH delivery and that is when we found nowSMS.

NowSMS is a cornerstone in our delivery system and we have been able to grow our business from 6 to 30 messages per min. We contribute a lot of this to the brilliant nowSMS system and the great support from Bryce Norwood. Mservice has in a very short time been established in the Danish marked as the premium service provider for Wap Push and MMS delivery systems and the customers are just lining up. Mservice will in the summer of 2003 be in 2 other European markets with content and our great delivery system backed by nowSMS.

Sony Ericsson

Sony Ericsson will be using the NowSMS/NowMMS Environment as one method to test MMS, SMS, WAP Push, OTA Provisioning on SE Mobile phones during the development stage.

Mobile Operandi

Mobile Operandi offers a web and wireless multimedia service named mophone that addresses two fundamental problems facing the wireless industry:
1. end-user ease of use of multimedia services
2. simple access to compelling personalized content

Mophone radically improves ease of use for end-users for the new generation of color multimedia mobile phones. Mophone focuses on making the creation, management and sharing of graphics, messages, ringtones, games, and contact information on mobile phones easy and fun. Mophone achieves this by creating a PERSONAL web-site for each end-user - a "virtual home" where mobile content and services can be created and managed.

Manage your wireless content on your personal mophone website and surf to it on the phone. Compose an MMS, create a ClickShow, upload photos from your desktop or send photos from your phone to the web. Mophone does it all, with just a couple of clicks.

The underlying technology of NowSMS allows mophone the robust capacity and seamless functionality to deliver on the ‘ease of use' promise that is at the core of our service. Combined with the low entry-level pricing and scalable licensing to expand in parallel with the mophone user community, NowSMS is a key component of the service offering.

Mophone is currently available in North America and will be launching its service in the European and Asian markets in 2004.

idbi bank's CEO and MD, Gunit Chadha comments, "This service is one of the first examples of using MMS in a business-to-consumer environment.
